The Project includes the following Work: Removal and replacement of asphalt, asphalt curb and sub-grade at 834 Tyner Way, in Incline Village, Washoe County, Nevada. Install BMPs to protect storm drains. Saw cut, (control/contain/vacuum saw run off) remove and properly dispose of approximately 6,100 SF of asphalt. Remove and properly dispose of 240 LF of AC curb. Remove and properly dispose of compromised sub-grade. Re-compact disturbed sub-grade to 95% MDD. Replace removed sub-grade with 8 inches (3 inch maximum lift) of new Type II base, and compact to 95% MDD. Replace asphalt with 2, 3-inch lifts of hot mix Type 3, PG64-28, 3% voids, 50 blows per side mix asphalt with 1.5% lime and no more than 15% recycled asphalt pavement, compacted to a minimum of 93% Rice Relative compaction. Replace 240 LF of AC curb with returns at the driveways and the upper end. Backfill and compact Type II base behind new curb, leave 3 inches below top of curb. Raise manhole frame and lid after repaving, frame and lid to be set 3/8 inch below finished grade, concrete collar to be flush with the surrounding asphalt. All work shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (Washoe County Orange Book). Contractor to provide for overnight signage and asphalt ramp for safe vehicle traffic as needed. Contractor to provide traffic control and maintain proper traffic control signage. Contractor shall submit proposed traffic control plan to IVGID for approval. Owner will provide Washoe County Street Cut permit. Contractor to provide materials testing and will be required to satisfy Washoe Co. Orange Book requirements. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $175,000.
