CNF-Lakewood HVAC The Work of this Project consists, in general, of replacing existing upper-level air handlers with two (2) new multi-zone VRF fan coils with 5-ton outdoor air-cooled heat pump and hot water reheat coils at ducted fan coils. Units to be located at existing location (FC-1) and at existing closet (FC-2) with fresh air ducted to the return air plenum with a motorized damper. Providing MERV 13 filters and air ionization units at supply air plenums. Modifying fresh air intake location from area way to duct mounted above grade; painted galvanized exposed duct with louver mounted below soffit. Moving boiler venting 10 ft from fresh air intake. Replacing existing exhaust fans. Replacing existing electric wall heaters. Replacing electric baseboard heaters at toilets with hydronic baseboards. Routing new insulated ductwork for upper level in attic space with overhead air distribution, while reusing existing ductwork where size complies with new ductwork requirements. Adding door grilles as necessary for proper return air to central return grilles. Removing existing attic exhaust fan in Clerks room and cap opening at ceiling. Providing new controls for reheat discharge control, perimeter radiation and fan coil interface. Balance and commission fan coil-heat pump units. The scope of the project includes adding attic insulation and modifying the attic access hatch, along with rough and finish work as shown on the plans and described within the specifications. Optional Bid Items include replacing existing lower-level air handler with two (2) new multi-zone fan coils with 3-ton outdoor air-cooled heat pump and hot water reheat coils at ducted fan coils along with fresh air ducted to the return air plenum with a motorized damper. Providing new controls for reheat discharge control, perimeter radiation and fan coil interface. Balance and commission fan coil-heat pump units.
