The City is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide their Department of Public Works Waste Management and Environmental Storm Water Divisions all labor, materials, services, transportation and equipment for disposal of yard waste in accordance with all federal, state, local laws and regulations and conformity with all terms and conditions of this solicitation. Question Submission Deadline:June 10, 2024, 5:00pm All questions relating to this solicitation shall be submitted through the Questions and Answers tab in the electronic solicitation posting. Scope of Services: The Contractor shall provide the following disposal services: Yard waste only delivered by City vehicles to the Contractor's facility. Yard waste may include, but is not limited to, tree limbs, shrubbery or underbrush, vegetative debris and yard waste trimmings in clear bags. Blended yard waste and bulk (not to exceed 20% bulk per load) delivered by City vehicles to the Contractor's facility. Yard waste only - under declared emergency conditions (by the City Manager), to include: Load, haul and dispose of storm debris from designated drop-off locations within city limits, and Stacking (includes labor and equipment to push and stack debris at temporary debris reduction sites ("TDRS"). Under emergency conditions, TDRSs may be designated by the City. The Contractor may be required to remove debris hauled by City vehicles from these locations. All receiving and disposal services shall be conducted in a manner meeting the accepted standards for the industry. The term of this Agreement shall be for a period of five (5) years, commencing upon execution of this Agreement and ending on June 30, 2029.
