Site work and paving for a road / highway in Montesano, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The general location of the project: Portions of Sections 7 & 8, Township 15 North, Range 10 West, W.M., Grays Harbor County, Washington. This project is a prevailing wage public works project. Forestry Department for the following: Approximately 64+06 stations of new forest road construction and associated forest road maintenance and improvement. All bids must include a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid proposal made payable to the Grays Harbor County Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Grays Harbor County. The Grays Harbor County Forestry Department expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts thereof, without cause Awards: RCON2401 – Elk River Tie No. 2 Contractor: Schermer Construction, Inc. for $253,034.00 RCON2402 – Crazy Battery Contractor: Tikka Construction Company, Inc. $193,500.00
