Renovation of a municipal facility in Chester, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Replace existing fuel tank and associated components. A bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date. A surety's consent indicating that, in accordance with section 5.18.1. of this ITT, the surety company will furnish the contract security which shall include a 50% performance bond and a 50% labour and materials payment bond of the Bid Price or a consent from the Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank that an irrevocable standby letter of credit in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price will be furnished. Limitation of Damages Each Bidder: 1. agrees not to bring any Claim against BGIS for any matter in respect of this ITT or the associated ITT process, including, without limitation: i. if BGIS selects a non-compliant Bid; or ii. if the ITT or the associated ITT process is modified, suspended, delayed or cancelled for any reason (including modification of the Deliverables or modification of the ITT or both) or BGIS exercises any rights or discretions it may have pursuant to the ITT Documents; iii. if BGIS fails to enter into a Contract with a Selected Bidder for any reason; or iv. if BGIS subsequently rejects the Bid of a Selected Bidder for any reason Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, BGIS, in its sole and absolute discretion: 1. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the Bids; 2. reserves the right to evaluate, accept or reject any Bid, whether or not completed properly and whether or not it contains all required information or is otherwise non-compliant, and BGIS is not bound to evaluate, accept or reject any Bid Question Acceptance Deadline: May 14, 2024 02:00 PM ADT Questions are submitted online Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
