The Carmi-White County CUSD #5 Board of Education, will receive bids for the Roof and HVAC repair work at Carmi-White County High School and roof repair work at Lincoln and Jefferson Attendance Centers in Carmi, IL 62821. A. Work to be Bid: 1. Work to be covered by the bid shall include: Roofing Contractor: Provide labor and materials for all roof repair and replacement work included in the Construction Bid security payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, shall be executed by the Bidder in the form of certified check, bank draft, or acceptable surety. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Payment and Performance Bond. Contractor must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with Illinois Wages of Employees of Public Works Act 820 ILCS 130/1-12. Wages printed in the Project Manual are for the month of bidding only. Certified Payroll is required to be submitted with all Pay Applications. Successful bidders will be required to perform and provide criminal background checks on all contractors, subcontractors and their employees, agents, or assigns that will be employed on this project prior to commencement of work, at the Contractor's expense. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of forty- five 45 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The Owner anticipates all work contemplated in the Construction Documents shall commence June 3, 2024 and be finally complete no later than August 2, 2024.
