This project is funded by the American Rescue Plan - Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARPESSER) Fund which means all contracts over$2,000.00 must meet all Davis Bacon prevailing wage rate requirements. Bids will be based on lumpsum basis for specified Bid Package Number. The United States Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Determination (Davis Bacon Wage Determination) applies to this project. The project consists of entrance lobby, corridor, and office renovations to approximately3,100 s.f. Trades involved in the renovations include demolition, acoustical batt wall and ceiling insulation, steel stud and gypsum board partitions, suspended acoustical tile ceilings, LVT/P floor finishes, ceramic tile wainscot, gypsum finishing and painting, aluminum framed storefront entrances, hollow metal frames, wood doors, door hardware, and millwork. Work includes HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. For the mutual protection of the Owner, Contractor, and Architect, no partial sets of Contract Documents in either hard copy or electronic format will be issued. Bid Security in the amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the Bid submitted, and payable to the Construction Manager, Ramsons, Inc., must accompany each Bid. Performance and Payment bond, equal to the Amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract (for successful bids that are in excess of $20,000.00). All bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board and shall be licensed before submitting a Bid. The Construction Manager and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any formalities not bound by Arkansas statues.
