Item Number -1 Quantity -19,616 Unit - SY Description - Construct Double Bituminous Seal Coat as per Pub. 408 Sec. 470 Item Number - 2 Quantity - 25,929 Unit - SY Description - Construct Single Bituminous Seal Coat as per Pub. 408 Sec. 470 Contractor required to be PennDOT prequalified for work specified; proof of prequalification required with bid submittal. Contractor required to contact municipality for pre-bid meeting at 610-682-6311. Work to be completed by August 23, 2024. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $850.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished by Rockland Township. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Rockland Township. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Rockland Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Full specifications may be picked up at the Township Office 9:00 AM 12:00Noon and 1:00PM-4:00PM weekdays.
