Dane County is soliciting applications from organizations interested in operating a minor home repair program for low-and-moderate income residents of single-family owner occupied housing located in the Dane County Urban County Consortium (Appendix A). Funding is expected to be available under the HUD-funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Please refer to the attached documents for additional details: CDBG HOME PROGRAM REHABILITATION STANDARDS (Appendix B), CDBG HOME MINOR HOME REPAIR ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM STANDARDS (Appendix C), DANE COUNTY 2020 - 2024 CONSOLIDATED PLAN, and CDBG HOME ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW POLICY AND PROCEDURES (Appendix E). Dane County requires that all applicants complete the Vendor Questionnaire/RFP application in it's entirety, and sign the Signature Power Form at the end of the Questionnaire. Failure to do so may result in the application to become ineligible for funding and may not be scored. Background Dane County intends to use the results of this process to make an award to subrecipients of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The total amount of CDBG funding available for 2025 is unknown at this time. It is estimated that Dane County may have up to $1,000,000 in CDBG funds that will be disbursed among several CDBG Categories including the Minor Home Repair category.
