Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in El Dorado, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The project consists of constructing concrete foundation and containment walls, installation of two (2) six thousand one hundred fifty (6,150) gallon crosslinked polyethylene vertical tanks, construction of a steel framed and sheeted canopy over the tank containment, chemical pumps, piping and controls with associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances to deliver 12.5%liquid sodium hypochlorite as a pre and post-storage disinfection agent to the potable water system. Demolition of the existing chlorine gas storage and delivery system is not included in this project. Contractor's Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) Total Base Bid. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wages to be paid under the Contract. Bidders must be licensed in compliance with Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law. Bidders must be pre-qualified by Owner/Engineer prior to Bid Opening. The right is reserved to reject any and all Bids and to waive any defects in Bids received. Bidders must be licensed in compliance with the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Law found in Arkansas code 17-25-101, etc. Any contract awarded under this invitation forbids will be subject to the requirements of the State of Arkansas Competitive Sealed Bidding as described in the contract documents. Question Deadline 05/17/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the data for opening of Bids may not be answered.
