Southwest Arkansas Planning and Development District, Inc.(Southwest Arkansas PDD) has been awarded a US EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant to abate/remediate the West Wing of the Former Warner Brown Hospital of asbestos-containing materials(ACMs) and lead-based paint(LBP). The West Wing of the Former Warner Brown Hospital is situated on an approximately2.715-acre tract located at 470 West Oak Street, El Dorado, Arkansas. SWAPDD, Inc. is seeking aQualified Environmental Professional (QEP) to oversee thecleanup process and provide Consulting Services that comply with all federal requirements for environmental cleanup. The objective of the cleanup is to provide aproperty for redevelopment in the downtown area of El Dorado, AR. The SWAPDD, Inc. consultantselection process will include: o Soliciting Requests for Qualifications o Reviewing qualifications and selecting qualified consultantswho show a clear understandingof the project goals and tasks. o Negotiating with the selected consultant and beginning jointwork activities immediately thereafter.
