The City of Hillsboro ("City") seeks written proposals from qualified firms that are "full-service" providers in one or more of the following service categories; Mechanical and HVAC, Plumbing, Boiler, and Controls who can provide services on a flexible, on-call, and periodically, on a short notice basis. The resulting contracts will enhance the City's bandwidth in responding to maintenance requests, emergency work, construction projects, tenant improvements, part repair/replacement needs, and end-of-life equipment replacement projects. The projects targeted by this RFP are estimated to be in a dollar value range of $25,000 to $1,000,000 and may require procuring services from a firm that has expertise in multiple aspects of these service categories. The City is seeking firms that have an understanding of highly complex HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and control equipment/materials and have experience installing the types of systems in a portfolio similar to those in the City's footprint. Proposers must be familiar with direct digital control (DDC) systems (specifically Schneider Controls), chillers, rooftop units, split systems, boilers, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, and have sufficient capacity to respond to emergencies and other requests on short notice. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
