Project Name: Professional Services - Survey/Platting, Geotechnical, and other Related Services for Bond Program. IMPORTANT: M/WBE documents are a part of Proposer's evaluation. This documentation is required for your proposal to be evaluated by the district. Scope of Work: Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code Chapter 2254, the Houston Independent School District Construction Services Department is seeking submissions from qualified professional services consultants with proven experience in K-12 school facilities. These professional services are for renovation and new construction projects for future Bond programs or as requested on an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Basis. These projects may include planning, renovation, repair, and additions. Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 11:00 AM CT. Questions pertaining to the solicitation process or to the scope or specifications contained in this Solicitation must be submitted via the electronic bidding portal under the "Questions" tab by the deadline specified within the RFQ. Answers to all questions received will be posted as an Addendum to this RFQ within the electronic bidding portal. The tentative term of this Project is from August 9, 2024, through August 8, 2025 , with four (4) automatic annual renewals, not to extend beyond August 8, 2029 . Thereafter, HISD at its sole discretion may elect to either extend the Project for a term not to exceed 90 days for business continuity purposes, if needed. In accordance with Houston ISD policies and procedures, HISD schools and/or departments are authorized to engage with "Approved Vendors" only. An HISD Approved Vendor is one that has been authorized for use upon having met a set of pre-determined criteria through a formal procurement process and awarded a contract ("Contract", "Agreement", or "Project") upon approval by the HISD Board of Education. The first step in obtaining Approved Vendor status is to respond to this solicitation and submit all required information and documentation. Upon completion of the Project evaluation process and verification of compliance with HISD's liability insurance requirements and Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Program, one or more Vendors will be recommended to the Board of Education for contract award. Once the HISD Board of Education formally approves the selected Vendor(s) for award, the HISD Purchasing Services department will issue a Notice of Award letter, affirming the awarded Vendor(s) status as an Approved Vendor for this specific Project. The HISD CTM assigned to this solicitation is listed below. HISD at its sole discretion reserves the right to accept or reject any such deviations and/or exceptions and to end negotiations with any Vendor if the deviations and/or exceptions requested by the Vendor are deemed not to be in the best interest of the District. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
