Work of this project includes, but is not limited to providing all necessary labor, materials, and supervision to rehabilitate the roofing systems on the Area engineer and maintenance buildings. Questions Due Date: Sep 16th 2024, 5:00 PM CDT SCOPE SUMMARY A. Roofing and weatherization installations in accordance with Local Jurisdictional Authorities, local building codes, uplift pressures, fire ratings, NRCA, SMACNA and Specified Manufacturer installation guidelines for construction. B. Area Engineering Office (Roof Area 1) 1. Repair of the Area Engineering Office (Roof Area 1) modified bituminous roofing, and the installation of Fully Reinforced Liquid Applied Polyurethane Roofing Membrane with Twenty Year Warranty. 2. Remove existing blisters to solidly adhered adjoining surfaces. Installation of new modified bituminous membrane within Solvent Free Cold Process Asphaltic Asphalt. Allow cold process adhesive to fully cure prior to installation of liquid applied membrane. 3. Clean roof and perform maintenance (clean gutters, drains, replace deteriorated sealant) 4. Prepare roof surface for application of liquid applied membrane over granulated modified bitumen substrate, in accordance with product guidelines. 5. Application of Alpha Guard WB Primer, 200 sf per gallon 6. Application of monolithically applied Alpha Guard MTS Base Layer, 3 gallons per 100 square feet. 7. Quickly embed Perma Fab Polyester Scrim within the base layer to fully reinforce. Include all vertical and horizontal surfaces. Perform vertical surfaces first and allow for curing. Then perform horizontal surfaces and allow for curing. 8. Application of monolithically applied Alpha Guard MTS Finish Layer, 2 gallons per 100 square feet. Allow for curing. 9. Quality assurance technical inspections and Twenty-Year Roofing System Warranty
