The Project consists of: Installation of approximately 60LF concrete retaining wall, 60 LF 29"x42" storm pipe replacement, 60 CY canal bed sediment removal, erosion and sedimentation controls and site restoration. The Borough of Walnutport, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, or portions thereof, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Work on the project includes replacement of a retaining wall including but not limited to the following: Demolition and disposal of existing wood retaining wall along S. Canal Street and existing storm pipe. A portion of the storm pipe will be removed and new pipe installed. Match pipe to existing size. Contractor shall construct new concrete wall as shown on the drawings. Work includes all water encroachment permit requirements, erosional and sedimentation controls, and sediment removal and disposal from the canal bed in the area of the storm pipe discharge. B. WORK BY OWNER OR OTHERS C. Owner will operate all valves, hydrants or any other components of the water distribution system. Contractor shall not operate any valves, hydrants or other components without Owner approval.
