The following is a list of professional engineering services that may be required. Firms specializing in some, but not all of the items below may be considered for those services. o Provide full-sized plans, specifications, and estimates for traffic/transportation engineering projects; o Perform general traffic-related studies; o Review/prepare traffic signal timing/coordination plans; o Prepare conceptual design plans/exhibits; o Provide cost estimating and value engineering services; o Prepare/review transportation impact studies; o Prepare traffic calming (neighborhood) studies; o Review/prepare traffic control plans; o Provide bid support and preparation of record drawings; o Perform traffic signal operation observation, review, and response (excluding physical traffic signal maintenance and repair); o Review City's traffic control devices and policies for State and Federal Compliance; o Attend meetings as requested; o Prepare grant applications; o Prepare presentation materials and/or present to Elected Officials, Public and City Officials; or o Other traffic/transportation engineering-related tasks, as requested by the City o Staff augmentation services at the City of Newport Beach Civic Center for development review and plan checking services. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The City is not responsible for and accepts no liability in the event a response is late due to any network, internet, or any other technical problem or interruption.
