The City of Newport Beach is soliciting for proposals to select qualified firms to provide comprehensive professional surveying services on an as-needed basis for an estimated three (3) to five (5) year term, with an intended contract amount of $300,000.00 - $500,000.00 . The City may elect to contract with multiple firms. Due to the as-need nature of this contract, no work is guaranteed, even if awarded. These terms are subject to change and approval by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach The scope, work schedule, and fee for each task will be negotiated on a project-by-project basis. A simple-formatted letter proposal will be requested for each task. The City reserves the right to not accept the Consultant's scope and fee. The following is a list of survey services that may be required: - Providing horizontal and vertical control - Establishing and adjusting benchmarks and survey monuments - Performing design, aerial, and topographic surveys - Setting aerial targets and performing photo control - Performing boundary surveys and boundary analysis - Providing centerline surveys and centerline ties - Preparing corner records - Preparing Records of Survey - Developing legal descriptions, easements and plat maps - Reviewing and/or Preparing Subdivision Maps, Tentative and Final maps - Reviewing/Interpreting Title Reports, deeds, and descriptions - Performing construction surveying/staking - Other survey-related tasks, as necessary Under this subject Request for Qualifications (RFQ), City will create a list of qualified consultants and subsequently request proposals to continue restoration management and monitoring of the project area for a four-year period from August 2, 2024, to August 1, 2028.
