the Vaughan Athletic Center, in accordance with instructions to bidders and specifications attached. Overview The Fox Valley Park District was established in April 1947. The Park District owns and maintains 3 community centers, a championship golf course, a nature center, Blackberry Farm, 165 parks, 48 miles of regional trails and more than 2,500 acres of open space. Park amenities include 94 playgrounds, 60 park shelters, 27 outdoor tennis courts, 105 baseball fields and 84 soccer fields. Purpose The Vaughan Athletic Center opened in 2005 and is a 225,000 multi-use facility featuring an Aquatics Center, Tennis Club and 10,000 square foot Fitness Center. The Aquatic Center offers a wide variety of programming and rentals and is in need of an upgrade to keep up with the demand in the industry. The bid will be awarded to the vendor who best meets the needs of the District specified below. General Scope To provide starting platforms for the Aquatic Center located at 2121 West Indian Trail, Aurora, IL 60506.
