Greenbelt Municipal and Industrial Water Authority (the "Authority") is inviting qualified Contractors interested in providing necessary services to perform water well drilling services, geophysics, and the completion of temporary access roads for the North Groundwater Well Field. The Authority is soliciting Sealed Bids from interested qualified Contractors. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for any reason it finds to be in the best interest of the Authority. The Authority seeks to afford the opportunity for qualified SBE, MBE, and WBE Contractors/firms to propose to provide the services described herein. The services to be provided by the Contractor are delineated below: Provide construction services to drill one permanent water well, perform necessary well pumping tests, geophysics drilling, earthwork, and the construction of temporary well access roads at a private property approximately 12 miles North of the existing Greenbelt Reservoir. The chosen contractor will be responsible for the construction of temporary access roads, site grading and site prep, the construction of temporary aquifer wells, performance of pumping test, water quality sampling and analysis, site cleanup, and any other items specifically delineated in the provided construction plans and specifications. The prime contractor will be responsible for retaining necessary subconsultants and performing necessary Good Faith Effort Solicitations for all subconsultant work per TWDB rules. The authority reserves the right to award the contract to the responsive low bidder of Part 1 and Part 2 combined or the low bidder of either Part 1 or Part 2 (refer to 00 11 16 "Invitation to Bidders" and 00 41 16 "Bid Form Exhibit A). Bidders to not have to submit a bid for any Part they do not intend to perform, but all responsive bidders must submit a complete bid for either or both Parts.
