Utica Community Schools will be receiving sealed bids for "Asbestos Abatement at DeKeyser Elementary for 2024 Renovations" to occur in in July and August 2024 and including the removal and disposal of asbestos lay-in ceiling tiles and associated grid work, asbestos plaster ceiling on drywall, asbestos floor tile, asbestos floor tile mastic, non-asbestos carpet, sinks with asbestos undercoating, tagged fire doors and tagged fire door frame materials. All bids shall be accompanied by a notarized sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 380.1267, disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of the School District, and a notarized sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 129.313, certifying that the bidder is not an Iran linked business.
