Renovation of a medical facility in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,600-square-foot, two-story above grade medical facility.
Indicate the work of the Contract and related requirements and conditions that have an impact on the project. Related requirements and conditions that are indicated on the Contract Documents include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: Existing site conditions and restrictions on use of the site. Work performed prior to work under this Contract. Alterations and coordination with the existing building. Work to be performed concurrently by others. The existing 60 ton air cooled chiller serving 118 WT Weaver shall be replaced with an air source heat pump chiller. Project scope also includes replacement of the chilled water pumps and installation of DDC on the new dual temperature plant, AHU's, and FCU's. Proposals shall be mailed or delivered to the following: Mary Pohl UNC Asheville Millar Facilities Complex, Room S208, 220 Campus Drive, Campus Post Office # 1100, Asheville, NC 28804-8500 Pre-bid meeting: The meeting will address project specific questions, issues, bidding procedures and bid forms. Immediately following the mandatory pre-bid meeting, project designers and campus personnel will be available for a walk-through of the project site. Please note on the envelope: Bid Proposal: Project Name Bid Date Contractor Name General Contractor License Number The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
