Site work for a civil project in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: .1 Supply and installation of a new 11.0 m concrete slab girder bridge on steel towers at G687 on 14G Road in the Goldstream Water Supply Area (WSA) in the Greater Victoria Water Supply Area (GVWSA). The Contractor must supply, deliver and install all required new components. .2 Removal of the existing elliptical culvert (2690m span x 1840mm rise x 12,802mm length multi plate) in the Goldstream River (fish bearing) and site preparation for the new bridge installation. .3 The District will be responsible for clearing and widening the road to meet the new road design criteria before the Contractor starts work, and the supply/delivery of rip rap and gravel products required according to the final engineered design. .4 Travel, delivery and hauling of all materials, supplies and resources to the work site approximately 12km from the Goldstream gate on gravel roads.
