Please e-mail all questions to akm.ahsan@iowadot.us before the question cutoff deadline The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for; Tower deconstruction and removal (Tower removal, Labor/Mobilization, Crane, Lift Rental) at Monona County located at 35900 240th St., Soldier IA (42-00-30.8 N / 095-50-53.4 W) Scope: Labor and equipment necessary to deconstruct tower at 35900 240th St., Soldier IA (42-00-30.8 N / 095-50-53.4 W). Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Estimated start date -Upon issuance of award (The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated project end date- 06-30-2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids).
