Please e-mail all questions to akm.ahsan@iowadot.us before the question cutoff deadline The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking bids for; Tower deconstruction (Tower removal, Labor/Mobilization, Crane, Lift Rental) at Mills Co located at 26506 US34, Glenwood IA (41-01-51.7 N / 095-40-50.5 W) Scope: Labor and equipment necessary to deconstruct tower at Mills Co located at 26506 US34, Glenwood IA. S. Scope of Works and Drawing - attached. Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include but are not limited to: Meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Estimated start date -Upon issuance of award (The date shall be coordinated with the IDOT Project Manager. (This is the estimated start date after all required documents are received (i.e., Insurance, performance bond and vendor signed contract). Estimated project end date- 06-30-2024 (This includes resolution to all punch list items, inspections and DOT acceptance typically used in construction bids).
