Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Anderson, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

*As of September 25, 2025, this project is underway. A closed solicitation is below, for reference: Anderson School District Five would like to contract with a vendor to Resurface the Black Top and Access Ramp at Calhoun Academy. See specifications in solicitation for details. Anderson School District Five would like to contract with a vendor to Repave the Front Bus Loop at McCants Middle. See specifications below for details. The successful contractor shall assume all responsibilities associated with this contract including but not limited to all labor fees, federal, state, city or town required business license(s), permits, insurance, fuel, supplies and any other expenses required to carry out the requirement of this solicitation. The successful contractor shall be properly licensed (Section 40-11-30) and must have at least five (5) years of documented experience.Location: McCants Middle School Total Cost $__________________ 2. Remove existing asphalt. (see map on page 4) 3. Contractor is responsible for hauling off all excess materials. 4. Contractor will be responsible for all locates in the Work Zone (if needed). 5. Check existing Base Stone to ensure 4" stone base. Add material if needed. 6. Add 2" Binder 7. Add 2" Surface Mix 8. Repaint Directional Arrows & Crosswalks in their previous locations 9. Repaint curbs that may get marked/scratched during the job completion 10. Repaint all parking spots & handicap markers 11. Approximately 650'(L) x 35'(W) 12. Area will need to be blocked off by contractor until driveway is useable. 13. Site Visit Available upon request. 14. Before leaving each day, site must be cleaned up and all trash/debris disposed of off-site. 15. No tobacco products of any kind are allowed on school grounds 24/7/365 16. All debris will be removed and all areas cleaned to original state before the final payments are submitted. 17. Invoice must be submitted within 30 days of work being completed. 18. Start Date: As soon as PO is issued All contact should be directed to the Director of Purchasing & Warehouse Services. No company should contact District staff directly. All questions should be directed in writing to the Director of Purchasing & Warehouse Services via Email to scottorr@Anderson5.net; Answers to any questions submitted will be sent to all companies via solicitation amendment. The Procurement Official must receive questions no later than five (5) days
