Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Overland Park, Kansas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; and municipal facility.
Replacement of Dennis Garrett Facility, new enclosed truck wash, fueling facility and site improvements. Scope includes design and construction of the facility, but does not include maintenance/shop equipment. This facility was constructed in the 1960s and is approaching the end of its useful life. It was last remodeled around 1980 to add office and shop space. This facility supports Public Works functions to include: 1) street, traffic and stormwater operations, 2) snow operations, 3) equipment and materials storage, 4) fuel facility, 5) oil bay and 6) truck wash bay. This project is included in the City of Overland Park's FY 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program. As of January 9, 2026, information regarding engineer and architect have not been disclosed.
