Qualified firms are invited to submit proposals to Jonesville Community Schools (the "District") for the construction of two secure vestibules. The project will involve some demolition, flooring, electric, and casework. More specifically, it will involve demolition of a portion of each entryway, creation of new walls/windows, moving/running electrical to needed areas and flooring. The project also includes painting, purchase and setting of new front desks. Please note there are alternate plans at each building that add to the scope of the work. At Jonesville Middle School, alternate 1 includes removing the existing flooring in one of the rooms and replacing it with new flooring. At Williams Elementary, there are three alternates to the original which will require pricing. Alternate 1 is remove and replace flooring and wall base in the rest of the office area. Alternate 2 is demolition and construction of new base cabinets, counter and upper cabinets. And alternate 3 is refinishing and painting (inside and outside) of existing cabinets. The Project will take place at the location(s): One of the projects will be at Williams Elementary at 440 Adrian St., Jonesville, MI and the other at Jonesville Middle School at 401 E. Chicago St., Jonesville, MI. For the purpose of this RFP, the terms "proposal" and "bid" shall be treated as one and the same. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make any award that it considers to be in the best interest of the District.
