Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Coopersville, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists of constructing the following: Site preparation, removals, and earthwork necessary for the construction of an aggregate pedestrian path, timber supported boardwalk, timber supported bridge abutments, pre-engineered pedestrian bridge, and site restoration. Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Drawings and specifications are available online or at the Grand Rapids office of Prein&Newhof. Electronic drawings, specifications and bidding documents will be accessible/available only to those Bidders who are active members of the Prein&Newhof Plan Room. Bidder assumes sole risk for any project specifications and drawings, electronic or hard copy, obtained other than directly from Prein&Newhof. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from Polkton Charter Township. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Polkton Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. The project shall be substantially complete by December 31, 2024. Restoration measures will be inspected in the Spring of 2025 and have final payment completion by May 1, 2025 or sooner.
