Site work and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Kitchener, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 26,000-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
Redevelopment of the Rockway Centre, a community centre geared towards older adults (21,000-26,000 sq ft). Scope to include: double gymnasiums with servery/food prep area; multi-purpose program rooms; office and workspace; lobby and community area; outdoor patio and social space. Location is not yet final but is to be located within 1.5km of the existing facility. TIMELINE: Plans are conceptual. RFI for development partners closed summer 2024; an RFP to interested proponents to be issued, date tbd. The Owner has finalized a list of deliverables to be included in the RFP for developers based on the results of public feedback. Further update may be confirmed spring 2026.
