Renovation of a military facility in Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Contractor shall provide construction services as indicated on this Statement of Work (SOW), Construction Drawings and Specifications. Project shall include the furnishing of all materials, labor, supplies and equipment necessary for the replacement of exiting heating system at Hangar Building 6215. In general, the work will consist of the following major items: Demolish existing HVAC system in both mechanical rooms including but not limited to boilers, air handling units, pumps, controls, electrical, supports, etc. Demolish existing boiler flue. Demolish existing gas piping. Repair all penetrations from demo. Submit for approval all new shop drawings, materials, equipment data for approval prior to ordering. Install new Infrared Heating system in hangar bay area. Install new gas, electrical and controls systems to support infrared heating system. Include all testing and balancing required by the manufacturer. Include closeout AsBuilt drawings, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, all test reports submitted for approval.
