The City of Wheeling is looking for the following enhancements: o 3 - Cafe or patio style metal or iron tables with 2 chairs per table (table not to exceed 30 inches) o 3 - perforated steel or metal coated accessible tables (3 attached seats and 1 open space, not to exceed 84") o 8 - perforated steel or metal coated tables with 4 attached seats (not to exceed 84") o 2 - Bike racks (mountable to ground) o 10 - Metal or iron benches that complement the historic buildings (6 foot) o 22 - metal or steel trash receptacles (32 gallon with plastic liner) Additionally, the City of Wheeling is seeking a qualified vendor to install string lighting in Centre Market. String lighting proposal costs should be separate from the above enhancements. Vendors need not be able to provide both the lighting and enhancements and may submit a proposal for only the enhancements listed above or only the lighting if necessary. The City reserves the right to disqualify any applicant on the basis of any real or apparent conflict of interest that is disclosed by the statement submitted or any other data available to the City. This disqualification is at the sole discretion of the City. By submission of a statement hereunder, the proposer waives any right to object now or at any future time before any body or agency, including, but not limited to the City, or any court, as to the exercise by the City of such right to disqualify, or as to any disqualification by reason of real or apparent conflict of interest determined by the City. The City of Wheeling is seeking sealed bids to install outdoor enhancements (seating, bike racks, lighting, etc.) to the Centre Market. The City reserves the right to extend the deadline.
