Project The Town is seeking quotes from experienced, qualified contractors to remove and dispose of the existing hockey rink sidewall barriers and doors and install new sidewall rink barriers, doors, and associated equipment. The project is located at the Booth Recreation Complex at 80 South Street, Foxborough, MA 02035. All measurements must be verified in the field for accuracy and are the responsibility of the selected contractor. Services for the renovation of the existing barriers shall include the removal and replacement of approximately 360 feet (estimated) of existing barrier, framing, and door materials and shall include but not be limited to the following work: • Demolition, removal, and disposal of existing framing and boards. • Installation of 360 feet of new polyethylene arena side boards, framing, hardware, and associated equipment and materials around the perimeter of the existing hockey rink footprint. Work shall also include the installation of three doors, with associated hardware. o Boards shall be a minimum of 44 inches in height and topped with red trim, or as directed by Owner, and fit below the existing chain link fence barriers and white in color. o Doors shall be a matching height of the newly installed boards and fit below the existing chain link fence barriers in the approximate location of the older doors, or as directed by Owner. All doors shall come equipped with or have installed latching system. ? Door 1: Installed door shall be a minimum of 44 inches in height, 15 feet and 5 inches in length, and open outward. The new door shall maintain the current folding functionality. See Appendix A detailing the current door. ? Door 2: Installed door shall be a minimum of 44 inches in height and 29.5 inches wide and open outward into the corridor between the hockey rink and tennis courts. ?
