Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Punta Gorda, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall remove and replace the tiles around the perimeter of the main pool, diving well, and two (2) exterior tanks at the South County Regional Park, located at 670 Cooper Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. The Contractor shall provide the County with 10% of the project tile for attic stock. The existing border tile is 2" x 2" and 6 - inches deep and aqua in color. For quoters guidance, a picture of the existing tile has been attached. The Awarded Contractor must submit color options within the blue/aqua family prior to the start of any work. Once the color has been accepted, no changes in color can be made without County approval. The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the following: A. South County Regional Park Main Pool (Estimated at 102 ft by 75 ft): 1. Remove and legally dispose of existing tile, thinset, grout, caulking and expansion joints in the designated areas. 2. Supply and install new tile, thinset, grout, caulking, and expansion joints where the existing was removed. 3. Specialty tiles and replacement tiles shall be Daltile Keystone Magic Series, non-glazed, slip resistant or County approved equivalent and shall include the following: o Numbered and lettered tiles indicating pool dept Tiles indicating "NO DIVING" and "NO ENTRY" to include pictures. o Replacement tile shall be approximately 7"x 7" from water to grate and 6" x 6" from grate to concrete pad. 4. All scheduling shall be coordinated and approved by Community Services. 5. Contractor shall clean up and restore job site back to its original condition or better once the project is complete. 6. Miscellaneous parts that can be reused will be at the discretion of the County. B. South County Regional Park Dive Well (Estimated at 37.25 ft by 22.5 ft): 1. Remove and legally dispose of existing tile, thinset, grout, caulking and expansion joints in the designated areas. 2. Supply and install new tile, thinset, grout, caulking, and expansion joints where the existing was removed. 3. Specialty tiles and replacement tiles shall be Daltile Keystone Magic Series, non-glazed, slip resistant or County approved equivalent and shall include the following: o Numbered lettered tiles indicating pool depths. o Tiles indicating "NO DIVING" and "NO ENTRY" to include pictures. o Replacement tile shall be approximately 6" x 6". 4. All scheduling shall be coordinated and approved by Community Services. 5. Contractor shall clean up and restore job site back to its original condition or better once the project is complete. 6. Miscellaneous parts that can be reused will be at the discretion of the County. C. South County Regional Park two (2) exterior tanks (Estimated at 9 ft by 6 ft per tank): 1. Remove and legally dispose of existing tile, thinset, grout, caulking and expansion joints in the designated areas. 2. Supply and install new tile, thinset, grout, caulking, and expansion joints where the existing was removed. 3. Specialty tiles and replacement to be used shall be Daltile Keystone Magic Series, non-glazed, slip resistant or County approved equivalent and shall include the following: o Replacement tile shall be approximately 4 1/8". 4. All scheduling shall be coordinated and approved by Community Services. 5. Contractor shall clean up and restore job site back to its original condition or better once the project is complete The local license(s) required to perform the services for this project are: Certified/Registered General, Registered Swimming Pool Class A, or Registered Swimming Pool Class C Any questions can be answered by contacting Chastity Williams, Contract Specialist at 941.743.1548 or email: Chastity.Williams@charlottecountyfl.gov.
