Project Agawam Junior High School Cafeteria Flooring Replacement BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: a. See General and Supplementary General Conditions of the Contract, Advertisement for Bids / Instructions to Bidders contained within this Specifications package, which are hereby incorporated by reference in their entirety into this section of the specifications. b. The work shall include furnishing all labor, materials appliances and services required or incidental to the proper completion of the work herein specified on the plans and specifications unless otherwise noted. c. Clearly mark all areas for demo/prep and to receive new layout of new flooring for review by Architect and TOA, for conformance with the plans & Specifications. Careful attention to transitions from one material or to another shall be noted on site for review and modification to fit existing conditions, at no additional charge to the Owner. a. Architect shall be final arbiter of said work areas delineations and layout. d. Erection of, and maintenance of staging, weather and dust control enclosures, (area must remain dusttight at all times) security enclosures, wall, door and furniture protection, and all other items and services required for the completion of the work, and all necessary equipment for maintaining temperature within the work areas at all times. e. All protectives for the safety of persons and the protection of property and the building. f. This section shall coordinate with other trades.
