Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. Gail Borden Public Library District reserves the right to reject any or all documents submitted or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the prequalification procedures and to approve trade contractors to bid in a manner serving the interest of the Gail Borden Public Library District. All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects, and bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding, but not limited to, labor, bidding and Equal Opportunity Laws. The goals for minority and female participation, expressed in percentage terms for the contractor's aggregated work force in each trade on all construction work in the covered area, are as follows: 19.6% goal for minority and 6.9% for females from each trade. Measured by total work hours performed. Bidder will be required to make a good faith effort and to document their efforts.
