Site work for a civil project in Nordegg, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

Work shall include the supply and installation of a new bridge culvert over a Tributary to Shunda Creek, located approximately 5 km northwest of Nordegg (SW 32-40-15-5). The Contractor shall install a 2.4 m Dia CSP culvert by 52 m invert length as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located square to the road, centred at Station 1+342.000. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation by Staged Construction Site isolation, turbidity monitoring, and fish capture and release Demolition and disposal of bridge structures Excavation, including geotextile filter fabric Supply and assembly of culvert materials Supply and installation of rocky substrate with substrate holders Backfill, including backfill material testing Heavy rock riprap erosion protection Roadway work Guardrail including delineator guide posts Permanent environmental protection devices including seeding prescription and plantings
