As of June 13, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 24, 2024. Work performed under this contract will consist of storm water infrastructure maintenance, repair and improvement projects within the city limits of Charlotte, NC. Work may include but is not limited to mobilization, earthwork, installation of storm drainage structures and pipes/culverts, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm drainage structure and pipe repair and/or rehabilitation pipe lining, water and sanitary sewer (relocations, installations, and adjustments). Locations of work will vary and can be within public right of way, private property with easements or a combination of both. Earthwork shall be performed to the lines and grades indicated on the plans. The work shall include excavation, furnishing, placement, compaction, and satisfactory disposal of all materials encountered within the limits of the work necessary for the construction of the Project. All excavated materials that are not required for the Project or are unsuitable for fills shall be considered as waste and shall be hauled off the site at the Contractors expense.
