Project Description: 30 Inch dia. and 21 Inch dia. sanitary sewers M-295 and M-329, to provide service to the City of Fort Worth and City of Everman in the Village Creek basin. Question Deadline 05/21/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Certain improvements included in this project must be performed by a contractor or designated subcontractor who is pre-qualified by the City at the time of bid opening. PURPOSE AND SCOPE The purpose of this investigation was to: Identify the subsurface stratigraphy present at the site. Evaluate the physical and engineering properties of the subsurface soils for use in the geotechnical analyses. Provide geotechnical recommendations for use in the upsizing of the water line. The scope of this investigation consisted of: Drilling and sampling a total of six (6) borings (B1 through B6) to depths of about 25 to 35 feet below existing grades Laboratory testing of selected soil samples obtained during the field investigation. Preparation of a Geotechnical Report that includes: Evaluation of Potential Vertical Movement (PVM). Recommendations for excavations including directional drilling. Recommendations for earthwork.
