Generators for Bricktown Canal INTENT: To purchase generators that will be installed to improve the water quality system in the Bricktown canal for the Parks and Recreation Department. The Parks and Recreation Department is tasked with ongoing maintenance of the Bricktown canal water quality system. The water quality system should be robust enough to clear the canal water of algae and other detritus. Diffusion based bubble aeration technology is designed to produce bubbles between 80 and 200 nm in diameter in the water column and is more efficient at separating the particulates in the canal water so the unsightly waste can be removed. Bubble concentrations exceeding one billion per ml of water and SOTE's of 85% that have been validated by an accredited University within the United States. The canal is about a mile long in total and has continuous traffic in the water and on foot aroundthe canal. Products that overhang the body of water are a potential problem in the Bricktown canal due to the Water Taxi boats that travel up and down the canal. The ideal product sits adjacent to the water and will not impede traffic. The product(s) will be placed in secure areas along the canal and the product(s) will be installed by qualified people. Units shall run on 230V of power and are required to include weatherproof enclosure(s).
