Renovation of a transportation facility in Price, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Work Involved Will Include The Following: The Utah State University Aviation Maintenance Hangar is a 130' 6" x 80' facility that will serve as the home for the university's Aviation Maintenance program. The hangar measures 130 feet and 6 inches in length and 80 feet in width, providing ample space for aircraft maintenance and storage, a 50-foot-wide x 20-foot- high door on the north wall that allows for easy access for aircraft, a 40 foot wide minimum would allow for aircraft like DA 40 or Cessna 172 in/out with safe clearance and a 50 foot wide space would accommodate larger aircraft like a Cessna Citation or Lear 45 movement. The hangar will be equipped with a central air compressor and air hose reels to support engine maintenance activities for aviation students. It is divided into two sections - a Powerplant side on the west and an Airframe side on the east to accommodate specialized training needs. The facility includes a Restroom for user convenience and a dedicated area for a technical library and computer workstations for research and reference. Pre-Qualification: Yes Construction For This Project Is Expected To Take 220 Calendar Day(S). Bid Bond. Guarantee Will Be Required With Each Bid As A Certified Check On A Solvent Bank Or A Bid Bond In The Amount Of Five (5) % Of The Total Amount Of The Bid, Made Payable To The Carbon County Regional Airport. Performance & Payment Bond. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required To Furnish Separate Performance And Payment Bonds Each In An Amount Equal To 100% Of The Contract Price. Airport And Airway Improvement Act Of 1982 As Amended. In Accordance With The Davis-bacon Act, As Amended, The Contractor Will Be Required To Comply With The Wage And Labor Requirements And To Pay Minimum Wages In Accordance With The Schedule Of Wage Rates Established By The United States Department Of Labor.
