The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to establish a contract for on-call twenty-four (24) hour contractual services providing snow and ice removal from thirteen (13) MTA Light Rail Station Parking Lots and two (2) MTA Light Rail Administration & Mechanical Shop Parking lots for a period of five (5) years. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment and snow and ice removal service as detailed in the Scope of Work necessary to restore and maintain all parking lots to a safe and serviceable condition upholding the continuity of MTA Light Rail's 24-hour operations per snow and ice removal deployment The Contractor shall provide MTA Light Rail Parking Lot Snow and Ice Removal services on an on call, as needed basis per hour. MBE Subcontracting Goal: 25% Contract Duration: Five (5) Year Base Contract with no options. Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Time via email trussell@mta.maryland.gov The MTA Light Rail Project Manager or designee reserves the right to add additional numbers of equipment and labor units as listed on the bid sheet at the point of service notification and at any time throughout the course of a weather event due to storm circumstances.
