This project is the installation of boilers at UMSL's Woods Hall. Boilers have already been purchased and delivered to the Owner. This scope of work includes installation of the boilers. SCOPE OF WORK a. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings and specified herein. b. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may not be specifically mentioned. c. General Description of Work: (1) Project consists of replacement of existing boilers with new Owner purchased boilers and installation of new flues, controls, accessories as indicated on plans. (2) Architectural work shall consist of roofing modifications associated with roof penetrations. (3) Structural work shall consist of structural support of new mechanical equipment. (4) Mechanical work shall consist of : a. Demolish heating water boiler, isolation pad, flue up to roof, controls, and accessories. b. Demolish section of natural gas pipe c. Demolish section of heating water supply pipe. d. Demolish section of heating water return pipe. e. Demolish section of air separator drain pipe f. Demolish section of drain g. Demolish section of potable/non-potable cold-water pipe. h. Install boiler flue. i. Install boiler combustion air duct. j. Install new natural gas pipe serving boilers. k. Install new heating water supply pipe. l. Install new heating water return pipe. m. Install new potable/non-potable water piping. n. Install new backflow preventer. o. Install control damper. (5) Electrical work shall consist of : a. Demolish existing electrical circuits serving Boilers. b. Provide new feeders for new Boilers. Work shall be performed under this Contract on campus of the University of Missouri - St. Louis, at Woods Hall, 1 University Drive, St. louis, Missouri 63121.
