Sellers requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request via the Pre-Bid Solicitation in www.PHLContracts.phila.gov by the deadline provided on the Specification Package cover sheet SCOPE OF WORK The project scope of work is for the replacement of 95 controllers in South Philadelphia. The existing 170 controllers with BiTrans 233 firmware are to be replaced with an NTCIP controller, either the Flex ATC or a 2070 with 1C CPU. Firmware is slated to be D4. The City of Philadelphia has procured the D4 firmware licenses for all 95 intersections. All intersections are to be integrated into PennDOT Unified Command Control software. The majority of existing interconnect is fiber with select locations interconnected via existing radio. Five intersections, currently not integrated into any ATMS, are to be integrated via cellular router. The contract documents group the intersections into a series of scenarios based on the existing equipment present and the requisite material needed to upgrade the controller and complete UCC ATMS integration. This work is to be completed within the existing CalTrans cabinets. There is a contingency cabinet item in case an existing cabinet is determined by both the contractor and the City to need replacement in order to complete the project.
