Work for which proposals are to be received is for construction of approximately 420 feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer and approximately 400 feet of 6-inch ductile iron water main in the vicinity of the Hannah Street and Olinger Street intersection in Huntington, Indiana. Work includes connection to existing sanitary sewer via a doghouse-type manhole, and connection to existing water main. Copies of the documents are available for examination at the Huntington City Building, and the office of Butler, Fairman, and Seufert, 8450 Westfield Blvd. Suite 300, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. Payment shall be by money order or check and shall be made payable to Butler, Fairman, and Seufert, Inc. Plan holders must recognize that they will be notified of each addendum via email and will be required to electronically download addendum content via file transfer protocol (FTP). Obtaining Contract Documents at the Issuing Office of the Engineer ensures notification of any addenda The Work will be substantially completed within 60 consecutive calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 2.03 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 90 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
