GIWW Crossings at Short, Bourg, and Belanger Streets
TPCW Project No. CIP-09-22-05 Work on which proposals are invited consists of the horizontal directional drilling of three HDPE waterlines across the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at Belanger, Bourg, and Short Streets along with necessary fittings to connect them to the existing water system. Base Bid: Belanger Street = 785 linear feet of 12-inch HDPE, Bourg Street = 835 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE, and Short Street = 835 linear feet of 20-inch HDPE with associated fittings. Alternate No. 1 Bid: Belanger Street = 785 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE, Bourg Street = 1,620 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE, and Short Street = 835 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE with associated fittings. Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the bidding documents. Bid sheets will be issued only to contractors and/or subcontractors licensed in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 37:2150 through 2173 of the Louisiana Legislature. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit their Louisiana Contractor's License Number as evidence that they hold a license of the proper classification that is in full force and effect. All proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1. Failure to do so will result in the bid/bids being declared non-responsive and shall be cause for rejection. If a bid bond is provided it shall be on the attached form and only on the attached form. A Bid will be considered responsive if it conforms in all respects with the conditions and requirements of the Bidding Documents. In order to be considered responsive, the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form must; (a) be fully completed, signed and be responsive in all respects to the Bidding Documents; (b) be made on the Bid Forms provided and submitted intact. Successful bidders must register with the Terrebonne Parish Sales and Use Tax Department for use tax purposes. The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1, reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with State Bid Law.
