Base project work involves maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel Cut-1N through Range-E. The excavated material will be distributed among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Placement Area (P/A-N), and the North Beach Placement Area (P/A-NB). Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, beach tilling, screening, and sea turtle and sturgeon trawling. Option A work includes tilling and escarpment removal at Fort Clinch Placement Area (P/A-F) beach portion only, not groins area. In Accordance With (Iaw) Far Clause 52.236-27, an Organized Site Visit Has Been Scheduled. See Far 52.236-27, Alt I in Section 00100 for Details.
