Bur-Mil Park Pickleball Courts Resurfacing Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to complete the resurfacing of ten (10) outdoor pickleball courts at Bur-Mill Park located 5834 Bur-Mil Club Road, Greensboro, NC 27410. The goal of this project is to improve the playing surface, ensure safety, and extend the lifespan of the courts. The County invites all interested and qualified firms who meet the requirements below to submit a response to this RFP. The selected Provider will enter into a one (1) year contract with the County as outlined in this RFP. No bid deposit or performance bonds are required All questions pertaining to this RFP must emailed to the Guilford County Purchasing Department at DG_Purchasing@guilfordcountync.gov Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Respondents are strongly encouraged to submit their proposal with all required documentation at least twentyfour (24) hours in advance. The County will not be responsible for any technical difficulties that may occur and result in the inability to submit. The County reserves the right to reject all proposals or waive technicalities in order to award a contract, which may be determined to be in the best interest of the County. The County also reserves the right to make the award in whole or part. The County reserves the right to include outside consultants to assist in the evaluation process. The awarded Providers will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to
complete the resurface project in accordance with the specified standards and scope of work.
3.2 Provider must
Repair and resurface ten (10) all weather pickleball courts (as needed).
Prepare courts to receive new surface, clean and scrape courts of all loose materials, dirt, foreign
matter and debris.
Patch all structural cracks, dings, voids, etc. in the asphalt surface using an acrylic patch binder.
Apply application of non-slip coating to ensure player safety.
Proper line striping for pickleball court dimensions and boundaries.
If needed sand and repaint net post using Rustoluem (color: black)
Comply with local building codes and regulations.
Clean jobsite, dispose of all debris and prepare courts for use.
Comply with industry standards and guidelines for pickleball court construction and resurfacing.
Adhere United States Pickle Ball Association (USAPA) guidelines for court dimensions and
Markings.
Use High-quality, durable materials suitable for outdoor sport surfaces.
Comply with local building codes and regulations.
Implement environmentally friendly practices. where applicable.
