88As of July 10 2024, project is on hold. No definite date for rebid.** Construction of a Solid Waste Container Site. Forms for Registration Are Available From the Department of Labor and Industry, P.o. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on Registration Can Be Obtained by Calling 406-444-7734. All Laborers and Mechanics Employed by Contractors or Subcontractors in Performance of the Construction Work Shall Be Paid Wages at Rates as May Be Required by the Laws of the State of Montana. The Work Shall Include Site Grading and Onsite Earthwork, Structural Concrete and Slabs, Grading and Gravel Surfacing for Onsite Roads, and Necessary Chainlink Fencing and Gates. The Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religion, Sex or National Origin. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid for at Least Sixty (60) Days After the Scheduled Time for Receipt of Bids, Except as Noted in the Instruction to Bidders. The District Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids and Waive Any Informalities. Bids Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Security Meeting the Requirements of the State of Montana in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid. Within Ten Days After the Notice of Award, the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond Guaranteeing Faithful Performance and the Payment of All Bills and Obligations Arising From the Performance of the Contract. The Bonds Will Each Be Equal to 100 Percent of the Contract Amount. Contractor's and Any of the Contractor's Subcontractors Doing Work on This Project Will Be Required to Obtain Registration With the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (Dli).
