The City of Redmond (City) is soliciting interest from consulting firms under this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for design services for the construction of the Buffered Bike Lanes - Bellevue-Redmond Road (West Lake Sammamish Parkway to NE 30th Street). The successful consultant/team will prepare survey, environmental analysis, roadway and traffic signal design, and plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Consultant Scope The consultant shall provide preliminary and final engineering design services and other work including: - Project management - Data collection and survey/mapping - City utility coordination - Environmental/permitting/SEPA - Geotechnical investigation with recommendations for pavement and wall design - Traffic signal design - Detailed curb ramp analysis and design - Technical details - Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (30%, 60%, 90% and Bid Ready) - Support during bid advertisement period The following is a preliminary scope of work. Each of the tasks within the scope of services should include the following five components: o Work tasks o Receivables o Deliverables o Assumptions o Meetings Owner Rights: Redmond reserves the right to reject any or all submittals and to waive any irregularities or information in the evaluation process. The final decision is at Redmond's sole discretion and respondents to this request have no appeal rights or procedures guaranteed to them.
