The City of Thunder Bay, Engineering and Operations, Traffic and Street-lighting division requires the commitment of an electrical construction and maintenance contractor to provide on-call standby and after hours call outs to maintain and repair traffic and street-lighting infrastructure in accordance with this RFT. The City of Thunder Bay requires services and equipment on an as required basis, seven (7) days a week, available 24 hours a day for the duration listed in this tender. It is mandatory that bidders demonstrate previous traffic controller infrastructure and street light maintenance experience within the last five (5) years. In the Bidding System under Step 2-Specifications "Mandatory Previous Experience and Qualifications - Bidders must provide a list of a minimum of three (3) projects in the past 5 years, highlighting your Company's experience in traffic controller infrastructure and street light maintenance. Include: Customer name and contact number, date completed, description and value of contract. The onus is on the bidder to provide enough detail in their response to show that the required similar service contracts are within the past five (5) years. The Contractor shall maintain a roster of at least four (4) Journeyperson(s) Electricians that hold a certificate of qualification of International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Certification level 1. available twenty-four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week 365 days a year.
